What is bumbloods?

Bumbloods is a four part miniseries about two unlikely roommates trying to survive during a zombie apocalypse. When a new, synthetic drug hits the streets, 90% of the human population is suddenly transformed into flesh eating zombies. Mario is working with a crew that has some serious experience; KenMcGregor to name one. They are on pre-production currently and will start on November 19^th and 20^th. They have already cast three of the lead characters for the film; Mark Borkowski and Victoria Gates are two of the confirmed names that are on board. 

The reason he chose this movie had everything to do with a job he received at a haunted hayride at the age of 16, he was hired to wear a mask and carry a chainsaw. He realized that the people who hired him didn't ask for any identification and he thought about the possibility if they had hired some psychopath that had serious intentions of harming people. From there he wrote a script and five years later he pulled it back out and started to run with it! I am glad he did because this movie sounds like a seriously bad ass slasher flick!

Horror is his preferred genre, however he is diverse and he also has an interest in comedy and drama. "The Cornfield Massacre" will bring back the old slasher feel that we were used to back in the 80's, a type of film that has long been forgotten by many.

Based on a true story of the last victim of The Original Night Stalker, Janelle Lisa Cruz, Cameron Cloutier tells me that he feels this movie would be an ultimate slasher flick if it was not a true story but to make this based off of a true story turns this film into a seriously complex horror story that everyone can identify with because it really did happen!!

Casting is about to come along but the focus right now is obtaining the money for the film. Soon he will be working on casting what will be a huge cast. He wants to film this movie in such a way to create a film that brings to light the crimes of the past and explain what has happened. The fact that this movie is about a serial killer that most people want to forget about makes this movie worth funding; it is the epitome of good versus evil. It will give Janelle a voice to help tell what happened to her and it will also help open up more discussion about The Original Night Stalker in hopes that it may lead to finding out just who did this horrific chain of events.

Before Janelle, The Original Night Stalker was silent for 5 years; what made him come back? What made her his last known victim? These are the questions that are to be brought to light in this film.

Movie Review: "The Tortured Girl" Trilogy Part 3: THE MOCKINGBIRD by @HerbivorePro starring @MelissaMalan

MY TAKE:

I am sorry for the delayed review of "The Mockingbird", the 3rd and final segment to "The Tortured Girl" Trilogy and it doesn't disappoint! This a story about two sisters that shared a strong bond after the death of their mother and the departure of their father. This is a very awesome story that is well played out and leaves you with some serious thinking to do. Much like the past two films; "The Mockingbird" is handled with the originality that only this crew can do!

If you haven't had the chance to watch this trilogy I suggest you do so because you will experience true original horror that you will be talking about for years to come. When you are asked what the most original horror/thriller movie you have seen, you can easily mention this with any of the top budgeted films!!

Sadly, 'K' (Jason Sherlock - 'The Ecstasy of Isabel Mann') answers his query and so begins 24 hours of terror. It turns out that the filmmaker did something very, very bad in his first outing as a director and now he is about to pay....in the worst way. He didn't reckon on a family out for some extreme payback.

David screamed while grabbing the steering wheel with both hands and swerving at the last minute, just narrowly avoiding a head on collision with the bright red sports car that had overtaken his lane. His heart beat at a frenetic pace, his eyes darted from side to side as he inspected the roadway looking for a safe place to stop. He attempted to wipe away the sweat that now poured down his forehead before slowing and eventually pulling onto the shoulder of the road to gather his thoughts. ThE BLOG OF HORROR IS EXCITED ABOUT THIS FILM! THERE WILL BE A WORLD PREMIERE SCREENING of the first 12 minutes of the film AT Shockfest Horror Film Festival in LOS ANGELES Next Month. There is also confirmation from the director Ryan shovey that this will be a feature length film! I had the pleasure of watching the first 12 minutes and I believe the quality of the film is every bit as good as anything with a multi-million dollar budget and the fact that it is a slasher film increases just how awesome this film has started out! If you can go to the screening I recommend it; if not i recommend helping fund this movie when the time comes!!

Movie Review:"Screen" by @davidpbaker starring @nicolemalonso @xlesliex

David Paul Baker takes you on a ride with Nicole Alonso (Lola) and Leslie Andrews (Carrie) two women that are heading to the site of a mass suicide/murder that happened 40 years before. There is going to be a party and nobody has no idea what they are in for. 

MY TAKE:

The opening of the movie explains the horrific event that occurred 40 years ago and it sets the tone for the film. An interesting script that really kept things flowing throughout the film and told a little bit about each of the two main characters very well. Once they are at the party the film takes a more intense feeling because you want to know what the hell is going to happen? Fucking great performances by both Nicole and Leslie especially at the end when the shit hits the fan!!! I would say the only part I would want to change is that there needs to be more "In the middle" to keep the attention moving forward; trust me that is a very small issue. However, still a great job and on a $4,000.00 budget no less!!

Movie Review: "Natalie's Lose Lose" by @95Forty

You wake up to find yourself tied to a chair; nobody in the room.. You begin to freak out only for the door to open and some mysterious woman wearing a gas mask enters.... You continue to panic because you have no idea what the fuck is going on.. That is until the voice sounds off across an intercom..

MY TAKE:

From start to finish this movie has you watch a woman named Natalie  being held captive by two mysterious people, they want something from her that she claims she don't have; you want to believe her obviously because she is the one tied to the chair. However throughout the movie you go back and forth wondering what the hell the truth is and who is holding her captive. Director Eric Williford drives home what most would consider one of the things that would be their worst nightmare. The unknown in this movie keeps you glued to your seat the entire time. What would you do if you were strapped to a chair and forced to listen to and see things that literally would make just about anyone go out of their fucking minds? 

This movie starred  Danielle Adams , I feel considering the circumstances she pulled off the teeter totter of emotions like a pro. I honestly couldn't tell what the hell was going on with her for most of the movie. The whole concept and overall story were well thought out and again kept me watching to see who was behind everything.

Synopsis:

In the vast wilderness of the Klamath National Forest lies the small town of Happy Camp, CA. With a population consisting of only a few hundred souls and buried deep in the mountains, the town is an island unto itself. 

This story is about Michael Tanner.  At the age of 9, Michael was adopted by Walt and Sandy Tanner and brought to the vibrant logging town of Happy Camp where they were also raising a five year old named Dean.  Upon Mike's arrival the two boys shared an immediate bond; and for the first time in his life Mike had a family.  After living in Happy Camp for only two years, tragedy struck on the afternoon of October 22, 1989 Dean was abducted from the back yard of his family's home.  Mike, being the only witness, had no recollection of the violent crime.  To this day there is still an ongoing investigation for the disappearance of Dean Tanner as well as the 627 individuals missing from the Happy Camp mountains.

Twenty years later, Michael has finally gotten the courage to face his past in an attempt to find peace and remember what transpired on that fateful day. Under the provocation of his girlfriend, Mike has reluctantly agreed to allow the experience to be documented.  Unfortunately, what he uncovers is a deeper mystery that they may all want to forget.

Podcast: 40OZ OF HORROR! @40ozofhorror

Okay I had to do a piece on these guys because their show rocks that hard. 40oz of Horror is a drunken horror podcast filled with news, opinions, reviews and of course booze! What more could one ask for? Not only does their podcast inform you about whats going on in the horror world right now, but I promise if you don't get a good laugh out at least once while listening then you're not human. The last episode I listened to was their 27th installment and at a point I was literally in tears I laughed so hard.

Now not only is the show awesome, but the guys behind it are just as great. They're personable with their listeners/fans and even do contests on their site/twitter to win merchandise. Everyone loves winning merch! I myself am now the proud owner of a limited edition glow in the dark t-shirt! (Seen below). The guys even have a segment called Boozin' Gone Bad where us listeners can share our personal drunken adventures with the guys.

When Becky and Grant arrive at their rockabilly-themed wedding, despite warnings of a West Nile Virus outbreak, things go horribly wrong as the mosquito-spread virus spawns zombies, who begin feeding on the wedding guests as well as the other locals. The two newlyweds have to escape along with their family and friends if they ever want to live to see their honeymoon!

I just HAD to make sure everyone had the chance to see the trailer to this movie!!  Mosquitos are spreading a virus that transforms people into Zombies? Hell yeah! I love Zombie movies, especially when creatively they are being done differently with a different theme. This one looks to be an amazing version of brain eating insanity!!!
